For our stall that we hope to hold sometime near Christmas, we have been making when time allows some Christmas cards. We had some of last years around so got down to cutting some bits out and then remaking. You can create some really wonderful cards this way. For some we used Christmas themed backing paper that is used in scrapbooking, then added robins, santa's and all sorts of bits that we thought would make nice cards, as you can see from the photograph. The Christmas tree card was made by using a cut out of the tree then covering with glue and adding some glitter. Let it dry then add more glue and re apply some more glitter, it gives a better finish. We then added some pretty sequin shaped snowflakes in green. To give cards a better look you can cut the front in half diagonal, then cover the inside of the card with scrap papers, then add the cut outs on the front giving the card a 3-D look. Click on the photograph to enlarge, you will see the card with the house and tree is made in the 3-D idea.
Happy Crafting everyone!
