Altered Art work

There are many things that can be altered, but never thought about altering a childs wooden abacus. A friend of mine found this in the RSCPA charity shop, she felt it would be a good item to alter during the winter months. As you will see quite a transformation. Just an idea of what can be done with items not wanted any longer. This would be a great idea for other day centres to work on giving each service user a block to alter to their own favourite theme. I hope to try and obtain one of these for our service users to work on so if anyone out there has one spare please contact me or our day centre.
